Why this page exists
POGAMES hosts and links to browser games supplied by us and by other developers. We respect intellectual property and we remove infringing material when we get a proper notice. This page is our copyright takedown process.
What you own when you submit a game
A developer who publishes on POGAMES keeps all rights to their game. Submitting a game grants us only a limited, non-exclusive permission to host it, show it in the catalogue, and let players play it on the site. That permission ends when the game is removed.
We require that whoever submits a game either owns it or has written permission from the owner, including for every art, audio, font and code asset inside it. Ripped, decompiled, cracked or re-uploaded copies of someone else's game are not accepted.
Filing a takedown notice
Email poga@pogameshub.com with the subject line "DMCA notice" and include all of the following:
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- The name of the copyrighted work you say is infringed, and where it is normally published.
- The exact page or file URL on POGAMES that holds the material (for example the game's play page or the uploaded archive path).
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information above is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What we do after a valid notice
We disable or remove the reported item promptly, tell the uploader what was removed and why, and act on repeat submissions from the same account by ending it. Removal is not a legal judgement about who owns the work.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed by mistake or you believe you have the rights, send us the removed URL, your name and contact details, your consent to the jurisdiction of the court where we are located, and your signature. We restore the item if the claimant does not open a case after we forward your counter-notice.
Other complaints
For trademarks, patents, impersonation, defamatory content or a game that breaks our Code of Conduct, use the same email. We handle those on their own merits, not necessarily through the steps above.
Repeat infringers
Accounts that submit infringing material more than once are removed from the platform.
