What a browser shooting game gives you
Shooting games are the category people most often assume needs a big install. They do not. A well built web shooter keeps the fun part - aiming, cover, timing, wave after wave of targets - and drops the 30 GB download. On POGAMES you click a game and you are playing in a few seconds, on the device you already have.
The action game on the portal
Metal Shooter - Super Soldier is the straight action pick: a soldier with a mission, enemies coming at you, and a score that climbs the longer you stay standing. It plays with touch controls on a phone and with mouse aim on a laptop. Related shelves: army games and sniper games.
How to get better fast
- Aim for the centre of the screen, not the edge. Most web shooters put threats near your forward view; flicking wide costs you the wave.
- Learn one weapon before swapping. Recoil patterns are per weapon. Mastering one beats owning five.
- Use cover that actually blocks. Low walls stop bullets in these games; decorations usually do not.
- Keep moving between waves. Standing still is how streaks end.
Phone, tablet or laptop - what changes
On a phone the game gives you on-screen buttons for move and fire, which is fine for short runs. On a laptop, mouse aim is more precise and the frame rate is usually steadier, so long sessions feel better. Tablet is the middle ground and works well in landscape. Everything is the same game and the same free access either way.
Data and storage
A web shooter downloads once when the page loads and then plays. It does not keep running in the background or store files on your device beyond normal browser cache. If you want a game that survives a dropped connection, use the offline games section to save it to the browser on that device.
